Eric is instrumental in all fundraising events, actively engages with donors to foster sustained contributions, and actively pursues opportunities for organizational growth through grants, sponsorships, and community partnerships. His overarching goal was to secure the necessary funds to meet the organization's financial objectives, achieved through astute forecasting of future income and cultivating donor relations to amplify community awareness.
In 2024, Eric eagerly embraced the Chief Operating Officer role, overseeing and coordinating the organization's day-to-day operations. Working hand in hand with department heads and supervisors, Eric will provide vital support for the daily activities of all employees. During his tenure at Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, he demonstrated his commitment through various roles, including spearheading fund development as the Director, overseeing the Corpus Christi Service Area as Director, and effectively managing grants and government relations. This extensive experience spanned five years, showcasing his dedication and leadership in supporting the organization's mission.
Furthermore, Eric's impact extends back over 13 years to his time at the University of Texas at Brownsville, where he played a pivotal role in the Student Union. His responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations and meticulously coordinating a wide range of events, contributing significantly to the vibrant campus life and the broader Brownsville community.
